The capacity and efficiency of combat performance and the constancy and steadfastness of our heroes in the war fronts against terrorism count a lot on the strength, coherence, and stability of the home front, which is the vital depth and psychological appointer that fills the fighters with morals and spiritual support that endear the fighting will in the field. This is a calculated symbiotic relationship. The soldier in the field is a human in the first place who affects and is affected by what happen around him from incidents and evolvements.
What happen currently from political conflicts and throwing corruption acquisitions accompanied by a media and political alliance in a battle of media, hotels, and air conditioned halls, all of that indirectly makes a massive psychological and spiritual damage in our troops that engage with the enemy in the battle of defending our country.
If our brave soldiers cared about what happens in the hallways of corruption and politics and the disgraceful scandals that are being published, not a span of our virtuous lands would have been liberated. But this miraculous and honorable national scale, even if it broke the familiar path of the war’s art and theories, mustn’t continue, as it disrespects the blood of the honorable martyrs and the sacrifices and courage of the ones resisting ISIS’s aggression, and it affects the happenings of the war and its complicated path.
The national, legal, and moral obligation imposes everyone to considerate the country’s circumstances and the level of the challenge that faces Iraq. And we must assure the fighters in the warfronts and support their effort and struggle by word and deed, endear their trust in their leader, and not let any chance for concern to sneak into their proud souls as a result from corrupt conflicts, political disputes, and scandals that move from secrecy into public without any fear, shyness, or timidity especially that the talks are about the work and reputation of the military and security institutions.
What happens today from evolvements in the corruption and accusations file through the media and TV doesn’t serve the condition of the country nor the condition of the Iraqi, and it gives ISIS a chance to catch its breath, reorganizes its broken and defeated lines, and resume its attacks on our heroic forces, and therefore elongating the war and its bloody loses.
In fact these conflicts worsen the misery of the poor and the oppressed from summer’s heat, power cut, poor services, and absent of reformation. As it deviates the popular interest’s compass and scatters the public opinion away from those issues that touches the street beat and the citizen’s life and main needs.
We expected that the victories achieved by our brave forces that was supported the PMF’s troops and the martyrs’ sacrifices would make the political groupings, parties, and even the corrupt to become reasonable and review themselves. But the absolute opposite happened, and it looks like we are living in a big delusion.
