War is a struggle, hit-and-run, a day for us and a day against us. And we better confront our people about with what is happening on the battlefield; if it’s a victory and a field accomplishment, or a failure costing us precious and pure blood on the battlefield. Experience has proven that hiding facts and maneuvering around them is no good in our war against terrorism and makes us lose our credibility, and the truth, even if buried in the deep of the earth, will resurface sooner or later, then how is it so with dealing with sensitive and vital information with a human aspect such as the case of those righteous martyrs.
And what drives us into this topic, is what we’re witnessing from obvious contradictions in statements and declarations by the official agencies about the number of martyrs in the battle of Al-Taqsim regulator which reached the stage of confusion, disruption, and loss of media and informatics coordination between the agencies assigned to the administration of the file of media war against terrorism, which opened a wide area for promoting malicious rumors that serve only ISIS and their hostile and aggressive plans. The case even evolved political, social and security aspects that started to touch the unity of the inner front, and dangerous cracks and political fallouts have appeared in the crisis that started grow out of realistic proportions.
A media crisis cell should be formed to address the raising situation and monitor its complications accurately around the clock as well as handle issuing explanatory statements to the public with all that is related to the battle and the numbers of its martyrs, and also commenting on the rumors, and filter the misleading and false information.
ISIS is leading a psychological and media war against Iraq and its army and people along with all that is hopeful and beating with life in this great country. Supervised and funded by the Dehqans of the twisted factions of the most powerful international intelligence, and that requires facing it by lining up the ranks and uniting the efforts towards the mutual enemy and without letting any situation give out the wrong messages that may project hesitation, recoil, weakness, division, or divergence, and that requires wisdom and political smarts , and the presence of honest media that has the ability to challenge the crisis with a united speech beating with the power of right and troth.
Glory and blessings to the brave martyrs who are the bane of Iraq’s flag and the header of its dignity and unity, and a salute to the honorable families that birthed these brave and vigilant heroes…
